DRAWING A TINY HOUSE

Assignment 3 - Individual

In this assignment, students were given a basic layout of a single story house and required to design a tiny house which consists of all the basic spaces. This project is intended to teach students the drawing conventions and calculations used in the architectural field.

PROCESS

This assignment was really fun as I got to imagine that I was designing a house for myself. I got to explore many different styles of houses and it taught me that each style could provide a different ambiance. I had to figure out a way to design the house where the design is simple, yet not empty as I prefer the minimalistic approach.

FINAL OUTCOME

REFLECTION

I thoroughly enjoyed the time needed to complete this assignment. The research needed to find suitable and matching furniture was calming and therapeutic.
