DRAWING FRUIT

Assignment 1(A) - Group

In this assignment, students were separated into groups of 5-6 and assigned to bring a particular fruit to class. This assignment is meant for students to demonstrate their observation of form and shapes, as well as display their understanding on plan, elevation and section view.

PROCESS

My group consisted of Ashley, Katherine, Gordon, Cheng Howe and myself. We were assigned STARFRUIT and were required to draw 1 top view, 2 side views, and 2 section views of it. This was an in-class assignment, and we had to sit in our groups to complete the drawings, in felt tip pen & in pencil, of the starfruit in an hour.

FINAL OUTCOME

REFLECTION

Although it was really rushed, I can say that this was one of the most enjoyable assignments I've ever done. It forced us to help each other as a team and taught us how to trust each other's strengths.
